Poem series: The Sun: To write a poem

To write a poem

Trying to think of words,
deciding to go outside,
through the glass,
noticing the yellow color,
that was not noticed before,
and once outside,
thinking of heat from earlier,
that was thought of earlier,
trying to look up,
but could only glimpse,
trying again,
but could only see,
something that seemed blue and white and yellow at the same time,
with beams coming out of it,
and standing away from it,
thinking that could not look,
feeling the heat,
on the neck,
and the arms,
then going inside,
and noticing that the eyes have to readjust,
and that the skin feels warm,
as words are typed,
for a poem.
