Poem series: The Sun: The beams

Beams shine out as rays from the bright star that glows,
through mist in the air they form rainbows,
and they do shine on plants that reach up high,
and let eyes see a red rose.
The beams travel down from space through the bright blue sky,
and shine on birds that fly.
The beams shine on the earth as it goes.

The poem above is the last one of the Sun poem series.  It utilizes the experimental poetry form from the March 19, 2015 post that was called Seven lines, random syllable counts, and a rhyming pattern.
