Today’s poetry topic idea is order. Order can have different connotations. Some are:
- Order can mean things in order, like things in order on a shelf.
- Order can be used to describe an instruction given by an authority.
- Order can be used in a broad sense to describe civil order.
- Order can be used to request something, like order a meal or order something from a website.
Using one or more of the different connotations, a poet can write a poem that uses the idea of order. Additionally, a poet could apply the idea of order to the poetry form they use to write a poem.
